Just when I thought I understood this "e-commerce" stuff ...

... I was looking for clothes on a major retailer's web site.  Scrolling down, I see a bunch of "sponsored links" at the bottom.  For other stores.

For the same items I'm looking for.

For less.

Huh?

    Maybe the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing? During the time I spent in corporate America, I found it was sometimes the case that one department was clueless what another was doing.
