From my previous post (and perhaps this one), it might seem that I take a dim view of lawyers. I don't. True, I've found that using the phrase "my attorney" is generally a sign that things are not going as well as they might, but that's not the attorney's fault. My point is not that lawyers are bad, but that there is a definite legal angle to the growth of the web. It's inevitable that lawyers will be involved.
Personally, I tend to think this will be a good thing. In the long run the legal picture will be clearer than if (somehow) no lawyers were involved. I realize that not everyone will agree with this. A good lawyer, of course, could make a decent case for either side ...
